Anyway, it's a big deal to me and congrats bro!

So here it is. The stuff I've been working on - for all those who wanted to know.

My brother is producing a kids craft show and I helped out with the design of the main company logo (the Magpie Crafts, LLC "birdie") and other logos like the Magpie Time (which is the name of the show) leaf logo...

I did the quickie website, too. It's simple and to the point with just explanatory stuff to try and get it sold...plus there is the sizzle reel of what the show looks like.

Hopefully when this puppy gets sold and 'greenlit' I'll have more to do! Woowooo!!

Jeez, I'm editing my posts (all 2) a lot (though you would never know it cause you can't see it!). I never like the way they read the first time. I guess it's ok since I'm not really updating anything of importance - well I did add some new stuff to the last post about the 1st pic. Baaahh!

1st Pic!

I have a special place in my heart for vintage photos. Luckily, I have a nice assortment for posting here on my new blog. Here's a picture that I came across recently. It's from late 1940s. I think that's a doll of some sort in her hands there, I hope it's not a real kid. I'll be putting more up like this until I sort out my own stuff to post.

I can't say where this photo came from (I'm even blacking out the eyes! to protect the innocent), nor will I divulge where most of the photos I will be posting are from, unless they are mine or my families. I'll try and respect the privacy of the posted...somewhat.

In the Beginning...

This past Friday over lunch, a friend suggested I start a blog to show some of my works and just to start posting stuff. Today (Sunday) is the day I dive in.

I'm not real big on opening up my thoughts to the whole world, so I won't be doing much of that. I do hope, now and then, to show you some stuff that I like (whether I did it or not).

You'll come to find that my manner of communicating electronically is rather staccato, so keep that in mind, too.

So now... I'll hit Publish Post............ and...
